About the Course
The Environmental Impact Assessment in Oil & Gas Training Course provides participants with practical knowledge and skills for assessing, managing, and mitigating the environmental impacts associated with oil and gas exploration, drilling, production, processing, transportation, and decommissioning activities.
The course examines the principles and processes of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) within the oil and gas sector, including environmental screening, scoping, baseline studies, impact identification and prediction, risk assessment, mitigation planning, stakeholder engagement, environmental management plans, monitoring, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Participants will explore how to evaluate impacts on air quality, water resources, soil, biodiversity, ecosystems, communities, and climate. The course also addresses environmental risks associated with spills, emissions, produced water, waste management, pipeline operations, offshore activities, and facility development.
Through practical case studies, assessment techniques, and industry examples, participants will learn how to develop effective environmental management strategies and support responsible, sustainable, and compliant oil and gas projects.
